...that United States Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) exists has an armed division that "has the power to enforce the law by conducting search and seizure raids on entities they suspect of sending non-urgent mail through overnight delivery competitors"? What it basically means is that if instead of putting your letter into an envelope, affixing a stamp to it and dropping it into the mail box you decide to take it to the UPS or FedEx and overnight it, you can be arrested, fined or imprisoned. That is possible because federal government gave US Postal Service a monopoly on delivering first-class mail (that's your regular mail, including letters and postcards) within the US. And these people forbid us to pick our noses forced the Bell System divestiture! Fortunately, e-mail and the like are making this monopoly obsolete.

Then I don't understand how all the legal offices avoid prosecution for sending non-urgent papers to be signed and returned, using FedEx? By using large envelopes and claiming that these papers should not be bent? :)

Принеси мне пожалуйста на игру 7 февраля вилку, которую одним концом можно воткнуть в телефонную розетку, а в другой конец вставить два телефонных шнура, и телефонный кабель тоже

То, что ты просишь стоит приблизительно $3 в ближайшем 99 центов магазине :) Я, безусловно, могу тебе это все купить и принести, особенно если ты уточнишь, что именно имеется в виду под словами "телефонный кабель". Do you need it to be terminated on both ends? Какой длины?

Ну ты в свое время говорила, что если чего телефонное надо - обращайтесь. До 99 мне ехать надо, а ты на игру сама придешь :-)

Мне надо один провод ткнуть в телефон, второй - в факс. А то надоело руками перетыкать когда надо факс отправить. Сантиметров 70 хватит.
