Came across an interesting application from Fonolo. It provides a way to avoid annoying voice menus one has to deal with when calling large companies (you know, press "7" if you are ready to bash your head against the wall ones). They "spider" the menus and present you with a visual hierarchical tree listing all of the available option, you can click on the one you want, bypassing all the irrelevant ones, and they'd set up the call for you, bridging it at the selected point. I haven't tried it and don't know how many companies they cover, but the concept is very neat.

Check out the new Toshiba TG01 iPhone-like offering due out sometime this summer. Looks pretty in the pictures and impressive in the specs (Qualcomm's 1GHz chipset, 9.9mm thick, up to 32GB micro-SD storage slot, 4.1-inch WVGA 800 x 480 touchscreen, Windows Mobile 6.1 with DivX and Flash support, 3G HSPA, WiFi, A-GPS, Toshiba's 3D UI). I wonder if/when it will make it to the US market, through which provider and for how much...
