Check out the new Toshiba TG01 iPhone-like offering due out sometime this summer. Looks pretty in the pictures and impressive in the specs (Qualcomm's 1GHz chipset, 9.9mm thick, up to 32GB micro-SD storage slot, 4.1-inch WVGA 800 x 480 touchscreen, Windows Mobile 6.1 with DivX and Flash support, 3G HSPA, WiFi, A-GPS, Toshiba's 3D UI). I wonder if/when it will make it to the US market, through which provider and for how much...

For any cool device that might be the only way to make it profitable for the provider, so they like to make exclusive deals. For instance, most of the profit for iPhone ended up in Apple's pocket, as opposed to AT&T.

That's what I said, good designers. And it's much easier to make your product stable if you don't let people add any strange apps or hw to it.

From my personal experience, OS X is extremely stable even if installed on non-proprietary hw aka Hackintosh :)
