Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Finally went to see The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy yesterday. Went in expecting to be disappointed and was not disappointed in my expectations. Today decided to reread the book to make sure it really was as good as I remembered (it was). Conclusion: Alan Rickman is not good enough to save the movie, especially when his voice fits the image not at all; everything else hardly deserves any sort of a mention, except for the Guide itself that, with animated illustrations looking like they were created by a very untalented three-year-old, was wholly unremarcable.
