On the way home tonight spotted Santa stuck in traffic on the Belt. Santa had upgraded from a flying reindeer-drawn sleigh to an SUV and most likely was regretting it.

Stopped to get some groceries at an unusually crowded, for 7pm on Christmas Eve, store. Barely squeezed into the only available parking spot. Finished shopping and returned to the car to find some irate individual pulling out from the spot to my right, which, coincidentally was also the rightmost spot in the row. The guy actually lowered his window to loudly lecture me on my parking and how I was too close to him and he had trouble getting in and blah, blah, blah... I was very maturely going to ignore him and be on my way but he wouldn't let it go so I gave him a piece of my mind: "Here is my car, parked in my very clearly delimited parking spot. And, oh, look, here is your car, parked in my very clearly delimited spot. If you don't know how to park it's not my problem and it doesn't entitle you to two parking spaces." At this point dude shut up and disappeared. N's reaction when I told him the story? Poor guy!
