I was asked to document my culinary preferences in case I am ever invited over, to make life easier for the hosts. According to my mother, the easiest thing to do if you want to feed me is to shoot me but if that's not an option here is how I feel about certain foods:

Foods I loveFoods I eatFoods I don't eatFoods I hate
Dark ChocolateChickenPork, red meat, any processed meatOnions
FishTunaCoffee
SeafoodClams & mussels
Rice noodlesPasta*
MushroomsPotatoes*
RicePlain white rice
Fresh or crisply cooked veggiesMushy veggies
BakedFried
УхаSoups
Dairy (cheese!)Butter
Fruits and berriesAvocado, strawberries, peaches, kiwi
CakesPies

* Might eat in small quantity or, in case of pasta, few select types, especially if whole wheat.

I also don't drink alcoholic beverages, sodas and prefer plain water to most other liquids.

This can't be accurate. It makes it seem that you "do eat" as much as you "don't eat", which is clearly not right. I can think of other examples of seafood you don't eat - squid, octopus. I'm sure there are variations of dairy you don't eat other than butter. Basically, I don't think you can express your food preference in a two-dimensional space, it's way too simplistic.
Also, "foods I hate" list is way too short, you must be forgetting stuff :)

Well, it was a tough call in some instances. Like, do I hate strawberries and avocado? I certainly don't approve of their existence but I wouldn't eradicate them the way I would onions if I became the Empress of the Earth. And should I include subspecies of a product, like shallots and chives when I am talking about onions? It's a complex problem but the list can be refined if more things come up.

Which ones are personal preferences and which are genetic predispositions?

What if someone offered you unlimited dark chocolate on the condition of drinking onion-flavored coffee?

I doubt that vomiting dark chocolate will be any more pleasant than any other substance so I would politely decline the offer.

I didn't use to mind coffee so much, never liked it but now I get nauseous just from the smell of it, so it's an acquired idiosyncrasy.

Don't tell me you'll actually try to accommodate her crazy food preferences.
We do not bargain with terrorists! I just keep a bag of baby carrots in the fridge for her :)
