Vendors killed me dead today. We've been trying to setup some IPv6 stuff in the lab. They configured it on their equipment I configured it on my router according to the documentation they sent me. Tried to ping their box and got dead silence in return. Shared the sad news with them, explaining where I was pinging from and why I am sure it's their problem. Got a response with their actual interface config and a little note that they noticed the address on the interface was fd01::111:11:11:11 but the document says fd01::111.11.11.11 which shouldn't be a problem, because it's the same thing. Upon parsing that statement my brain exploded. Then I had to gently explain to them how wrong they were and change my config.
