Dec. 4th, 2009 04:55 pmGoogle is now offering a public DNS service on 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Haven't tried it yet (I use 4.2.2.1 and .2 when I need a public DNS, don't remember who owns these, but I think it's Level3's IP range) and people are saying Google might be having some issues with their anycast but it's a handy thing to know about. Plus their addresses are way easier to remember than OpenDNS ones (208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220).
