Agonizing choice: which laptop to pick?

What I want:
Intel Core Duo processor (>2GHz)
2GB RAM
100GB HD
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EVDO
Decent video card, but nothing fancy
DVD Recordable
No Windows Vista capable
Nice screen (not shiny!)
Lightweight

What's definitely out of the picture: any HP, Compaq (hate!), or Sony (loath with passion)
What's in: ThinkPad or Dell

Leaning towards ThinkPad T60 (not that light but has everything I want and might even be under $2000 after corporate discounts). Or X60 (light, wrong processor and memory but light and small and cute. Damn expensive too). Maybe I should get both? One for travel, one for the office. Hmmm, two ThinkPads and two Dells?

Well ... I have the Dell, with up close to what you put down. Except with 1 Gb RAM and not a duo Core. I took not a standard, but high cap battery, so it's a little heavier than regular one, but I put it in a proper backpack and can walk with it for hours with no prob. And all this baby was just a little over a $1K about 5 month ago.
But take think pad. They should be more durable nowdays then Dells. Mine feels like it's gonna break mechanically if the fly sits on it.

I don't really need to walk with it for hours. But durability is rather important and we already have a few Dells with broken screws and such. But ThinkPads have their own weak spots too, like keyboards. In my last laptop keyboard was faulty on arrival. Very annoying when first thing you have to do to a brand new machine is service it.

Dell
Fujitsu.

Did you consider APPLE. Since you can run Windows along with OS X on new generation of computers with Intel processors, I think it may be an ooption to.

I don't really like Macs. And they don't have a built-in EVDO yet. I don't do anything graphics intensive on my work machine so what Mac has to offer is way too much for me. I don't know, the whole thing just looks like a pretty toy to me. But we have a few of these floating around the lab, I'll play around with one to form a more educated opinion.

MacBook Pro does not have a built-in EVDO.
