Saw "X-men 3" yesterday. It was quite watchable if you suspend all higher brain functions for the duration of the movie and don't try to reflect on it afterward. As soon as analytical and judging abilities get restored, pain of incoherent storyline riddled with plot holes and coupled with unconvincing acting hits your system. As N. nicely summarized it: lame. I hope we won't get subjected to something like "The Last Stand after the Last Stand" or "The Last Stand Rebooted" in the future.

I watched it in Russian! All the plot discrepancies got overshadowed by translation issues. 25% of the time I was explaining to my friends what actually was said in the movie.

By the way, I was watching some thriller on the TV in SPb, and there was a moment when two women are talking over the phone, and one of them, who is a fortuneteller, says something that got translated as "Приезжай ко мне, мы можем почитать вместе". Right after that I switched to some pop-concert - couldn't stand that anymore.

But of course we will. They practically make a firm "to be continued" statement in the last scene. :)

well...i guess my limited brain functions allowed me to actually enjoy the movie :) I still hope they bring the X1 and X2 director back.
