Looking for a new TV? How about this Sony Digital TV? Boasting OLED technology that produces 3mm thick screen, 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio (yes, that is a million to one), 11 inch diagonal and a $2,499.99 price tag.

And while we are on the topic of new technologies, I just bought myself a new toy (not with my own money, naturally) with an addition of retail Microsoft Office 2007, which came in a box specially designed for Vista and new Office.

Here is what some people had to say about this innovative word in packaging from Microsoft:
Pretty packaging; but how do I open it (other than a hammer)
Sure, it looks nice, but it's not in the slightest bit intuitive how to open the packaging. Did you guys even try giving it to a few people off the street before ordering up your 50 million production run of these boxes?
Leave it to Microsoft to ship bug ridden, virus inviting, computing experience numbing software in a box that no-one can open without instructions.
What's next, a redesigned car where you get in and out from a pull panel under the seat?
Nick, just received your beautifully designed Office box in the mail. Congratulations on designing a box that won't open. Perhaps Microsoft should stick to designing safes instead of software.
...So here I am. Not totally retarded, but I've been able to open everything I've ever bought in a store, before this copy of Powerpoint 2007 ... I stared at the box for 20 minutes while trying to open it, which made my blood pressure shoot up since I was in a hurry. At the end of 20 minutes, no matter how I pushed, pulled and prodded the plastic box, it was still tightly closed. I'm glad I wasn't paying an employee to do this.
So here I am, searching the Internet. Not for the solution to a strange software problem. Just to figure out how to open a f*cking box of software.

If you want a few minutes of healthy laughter check out the rest of the Windows Vista Team Blog. Of course, it's not anywhere near as funny if before finding this gem you did not spend about 15 minutes trying to open the blasted thing, gave up and googled it.
