Simon, for whom poetry is a closed book in a locked cupboard in a high attic in a lonely house in a remote hamlet in a distant land...

Кого-то мне это описание напоминает ;-)

Interesting idea :) But no, just Stephen Fry в оригинале. А с Поттером мы разобрались уже пару дней назад :)

This particular one is "The Hippopotamus", Fry's second book. I also read his "The Liar", which I absolutely loved. But in both cases Fry is very British, clever, caustic, funny, extremely naughty and quite wicked. Somebody more prudish than myself would probably say lewd too :) Strikes me as a cross between Oscar Wilde and Tim Robbins in terms of the word play and irreverency. Not big on deep thoughts or plot but what he does with English language is pure aesthetical pleasure to behold.

And, on an unrelated note, Stephen Fry is a British actor, he was the narrator in the recent "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy".

Thanx!
