IE8 beta is out and our IT hasn't even gotten on board with IE7 yet. They also don't approve of Vista. Well, neither do I, on both counts. But I loved the description of one of the new IE8 features:

Keep Internet Explorer 8 from adding any sites you visit to Browsing History with InPrivate Browsing. Now you can shop for that special gift with confidence knowing your family won't accidentally find out.

Yeah, I am sure that's exactly what that feature is going to be used for. That's why it was already nicknamed 'porn mode'.

What? You mean you're not worried that your family will accidentally stumble into your apartment, accidentally turn on your computer figure out your password by complete accident, then browse through your history and find out what you're getting them for Hanukkah? This is the one concern that keeps me up at night!

:)
