Went shopping today. Shopping list:
1. Winter boots, because whatever I already owned was most emphatically not meant for the snow that surprised us today. Thought I'd break my neck on the way to the store. Ice skating is not my strong suit :) Bought a pair, very nice, very warm, comfortable and not at all slippery. The only drawback - in the spring I threw out the exact same pair after it faithfully served me for a couple of years. Conservative? Who, me?
2. Chipset fan - this is the second time I am replacing one in a fairly short time. Also had to replace the case fan and just spent Friday migrating to a new HDD after the old one started getting all finicky on me. We are definitely not getting along with this computer. Contemplating a new one. Lena suggested a laptop, N. agreed and proposed a Mac. I am thinking.
