As usual - the first few are interesting, then it starts to drag. A lot of times they feel too technical and too detailed. A lot of people compare it with Hornblower series but now it's space battles, etc
No, it's a continuous series about the life of an officer in space Navy plus some politics (mostly reminds of England 18-19 century). There are around 20 books total and it's still going.
